Parent & child sewing workshop

  • Downton Memorial Hall The Borough Salisbury, England, SP5 3NB UK (map)

Join me at Downton Memorial Hall for a special sewing workshop designed for parents and children (ages 8+) to learn together! In this 3-hour session, you'll discover the basics of sewing, including:

  • Threading your machine needle and bobbin

  • Sewing with straight stitch and zigzag stitch

  • Using a template to cut fabric

  • Pinning, sewing and pressing your very own tote bag

Enjoy a creative, hands-on experience and make lasting memories while learning a useful life skill.

You’ll need to bring your own sewing machine (but I do have a small number of machines that can be used on the day if you don’t have one). You are welcome to bring your own material or you can use what I have available on the day.

All other supplies, plus refreshments and snacks, will be provided.

Details:

  • Small group setting (max. 4 adult-child pairs)

  • Tickets are £55 per pair (1 child per adult), plus booking fee. Book here
