On my birthday three years ago, Bobbin & Spool began in my garden studio with a simple idea - to create bags that are both beautiful and practical, made to last and made to be loved.

Since then, each piece has been crafted using waxed canvas or oilskin, paired with carefully chosen curtain remnants and preloved linings. No two bags are ever quite the same - and that’s exactly the point.

One of my favourite parts of this journey is when someone designs their own. Recently, a customer spotted a sage green polka dot fabric at my stall and instantly knew it was hers. A week later, her compact shoulder bag was ready - made just for her, with no duplicates and no lookalikes.

Those moments never get old.
