A week I won’t forget

It’s been a special week here at Bobbin & Spool.

Two markets to start the year - one slightly windswept - and some lovely moments that stayed with me. At Sherborne, a couple returned after buying an overnight bag for their daughter travelling to Australia… and came back for two more bags. Moments like that mean everything.

I was also delighted to hear how many people love the name Bobbin & Spool - now officially trademarked, which makes it even more meaningful.

Alongside that, I’ve recently been named a winner of Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday award - recognition that feels very special, not just for the business, but for what it stands for.

Because behind it all is something simple: I believe women don’t fade at 50… we evolve, create and shine.

Grateful for being selected to join the #SBS team

With that in mind, I’ve taken a small, brave step and entered the Muddy Stilettos Awards this year.

If you’ve supported Bobbin & Spool, nominations would mean a great deal - they’re what decide who goes through to the next stage.

Spring pieces are now in the making, with another 6 bags being made this week - sign up to the twice monthly newsletter if you’d like an exclusive preview of what’s coming in April. You can join The Stitch & Story Collective here.
