Is it waterproof? The waxed canvas outer is water-resistant, handling light showers and everyday splashes well. It's not designed for heavy rain or full submersion. Spot-cleaning preserves the waxed finish and keeps it looking its best.
What is waxed canvas and does it need maintenance? Waxed canvas is a traditional, durable fabric treated with wax for water resistance. Over time it develops a natural patina - slight creasing and lightening in well-used areas - which is completely normal and gives each bag its own character. If the finish dulls over time, it can be re-waxed at home with canvas wax.
Is this really one of a kind? Yes, and more so than most. Only one bag is made per print - once this design sells, it won't be remade. The reclaimed lining fabric is also unique, so no two bags are ever the same inside or out.
