Is it actually water-resistant? The outer fabric has been treated with a water-resistant finish that handles light showers and everyday splashes well. It's not designed for heavy rain or submersion. Spot-cleaning preserves the finish - machine washing will strip it.
How many pockets does it have? More than you'd expect. There's a large front flap pocket, a divided back pocket, an inner zip pocket, a divided slip pocket for phone and purse, and a dedicated water bottle sleeve - so everything has a place and nothing gets lost.
Does the crossbody strap come with it? Yes - the removable adjustable crossbody strap is included, so you can switch between tote and crossbody carry depending on what the day calls for.
